Uncommitted Spotlight: '27 Boston Bair
September 17, 2026
Boston Bair
We now take a closer look at 2027 OF Boston Bair out of Red Mountain High School. The 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitter has some real strength in the frame and has shown the ability to drive the baseball with authority. He was only eligible for part of the spring, but still hit .341 with 17 RBI and five doubles once he got into the Red Mountain lineup.
Bair has a strong left-handed swing with some real juice. We have seen him turn on balls and leave the yard to the pull side, but he can also stay on pitches and drive the ball the other way with authority. The bat speed and strength are both there, and his 100.0 mph max exit velocity matches what you see in the box.
Bair has one of the better outfield arms in the class, reaching 93 mph from the outfield with carry. He also moves well for a physical 190-pound frame, running a 6.95 60 with a 20.2 mph max run speed.
Bair is a physical left-handed bat with real strength, a strong outfield arm and sub-7.00 speed. Add in the ability to drive the ball to both sides of the field and a strong work ethic, and he stands as one of the better uncommitted outfielders in Arizona's 2027 class.
