CSN vs. CNCC, 3/19: Scout Blog

Brett Harrison
Nevada Scouting Director

Friday's double header mirrored the series opener with a pair of Run Rule efforts that cultivated in 22 total runs being scored on the day while only allowing two with the help of two strong starts by future MLB Draft League participant, Johnny Cuevas, and highly touted freshman, Josh Swales. Damiano Palmegiani had another huge day for the Coyotes including a two-run, opposite field homerun to get things rolling in Game 2. The College of Southern Nevada group has shown their ability to win in a number of different ways from relying on the long ball, to small ball, to dominant outings on the mound and will be an exciting group over the next few weeks as they start to gain back some key pieces to their lineup off of the Injured List.
