Player Reports: San Ramon Valley vs Cardinal Newman

It's always fun to see teams from different regions of the Bay Area play each other early in the season. In an early March game San Ramon Valley (Danville) made a trip north to take on Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa).

The game featured a couple of Pac-12 bound players, a freshman battery at one point for Newman, and some talented uncommitted senior ballplayers who can help the right college program. 2018 RHP Bret Soulages got the start for SRV, he is headed to Oregon State in the fall. He is one of 10 players highlighted in this piece.
