LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - Hard to believe the high school baseball season has come to an end in California. We were treated to some of the best action we’ve seen with player after player showing why they are so highly regarded as prospects. And what a season for teams.

In SoCal we saw a team that started 1-6, JSerra,  win the CIF-SS DI title a year after finishing runner up and losing what many considered to be the best class of prospects a team has had in a decade. We also saw a team, Etiwanda, that not many people knew much about coming into the season, run through the playoffs and claim the CIF-SS D2 title. We were treated to a historic season by Newport Harbor who claimed the CIF-SS D3 title. In San Diego we saw La Costa Canyon fight their way through the losers brackets en route to the CIF-SDS Open Division title. In NorCal, we saw De La Salle march their way to yet another CIF-NCS D1 championship before staking claim to the NorCal Regional Championship. In the Central Valley we were treated to some of the best baseball anywhere in the state as Stockdale ran their way to CIF-Central Section D1 title. Whitney marched its way to the CIF-SJS D1 title.

All-in-all it was a fantastic season by many teams throughout the Golden State. The final Power 25 of the season is never easy to compile because of all the special seasons by teams.

Be sure to follow PBR California on Twitter and Instagram for videos/notes throughout the weeks of the high school season.

Until next time, we present the final Prep Baseball Report California Power 25 for the 2022 baseball season.
