2021 Future Games Spotlight: Sean Marlow

The 2021 PBR Future Games has come and gone. The event featured the top uncommitted 2023 and 2024 players around the country representing their home state in front of over 350+ college coaches. Team Colorado had high energy and talented squad who showcased their abilities all week. Team Colorado went 3-0 with wins over PBR Select, Oklahoma and Utah.  Just as impressive, was our players' individual GPA’s. Their futures are bright as the true definition of student-athletes. 

Post event, we plan on highlighting ALL of our Future Team members.  

Today, we highlight: Sean Marlow.

2023, Sean Marlow, C/Utility, Mountain Vista, (Colorado Yard Dawgs) High energy quick twitch versatile player. Shows great actions as catcher with strong arm. Top pop time of 1.83. Blocks well. Still developing receiving and see +advancements. Middle infielder has +range and actions. 5-foot-9, 165-pounds creates exit velocity of 96 mph and +bat speed(25.60 Blast). Never gets cheated. Strong balance at plate with minimal load to direct path. Swing has slight lift. Uses middle of the field well and has strong work habits.

Hit: RHH Open stance.  Lowers on load and stride.  Closes to parallel on stride.  At Launch, has a slight tilt to front side. Sean is Max Aggressive with lower half and top half.  Hands have movement to load, Bat head is upright at launch. Direct path to ball with lift to finish.  Attack Mode and a follow. Exit Velo 86
Power:  Yes.  Would see his development as hitter of AVG 1st, with future Power Potential
Arm: INF Velo  79 Good feel at different release points in the INF.  Good Carry. Short to long extended release. Demonstrated arm strength and potential  Catcher Velo 75 Pop: 2.0
Defense: Good Actions as INF.  Raw with athletic potential.  Aggressive and confident movements.  Gather to release is quick as INF Catcher: One Knee set up. High energy, quick movements  Feet are established with momentum through throw.  Good hands on receiving.
