We would like to thank all who participated in PBR NE Connecticut Pitcher/Catcher Analysis 1. This was a great opportunity for 2017, 2018 and 2019 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

The Arms

Billy Black, RHP, Wilton 2017
A long and loose right-hander, throws from an easy ¾ slot, good run to the arm-side. Fastball sat at 84-86 mph with a ton more in there. Breaking ball was in the low-70s, some sweep action to it.

The Catchers

Matt Giorgio, C, Immaculate, 2018
An athletic right-handed hitting catcher. The set up is balanced, short to the ball with a high finish, took a solid BP, tee exit velocity was 81 mph. Behind the dish, the feet are quick and the arm action is clean, clocked at 72 mph, much more in his arm.
