New England Insider: Top Underclass Uncommitted Infielders

With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2016-2017 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position. Over the past month we looked at the top 2017 prospects and as you can see by our 2017 Player Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Today we are looking at the top uncommitted underclass Infield Prospects in the New England Region. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2018 and 2019 Player Rankings, there are numerous talented prospects available.

Class of 2018

Name: Aidan Wilde
Rank: 32nd in PBR New England Class of 2018
Scouting Report: Excellent looking right-handed hitter. The tee exit velocity is 91 mph as the body is an ideal hitters frame. The arms are short and he can whip the bat. The set up is wide and slightly open, closes down as the ball approaches. The hands are relaxed and clean, the path is flat and covers the plate. Uses his hands appropriately and hammered the ball over the yard in batting practice and in the game, very advanced. The glove is solid at third base, and he threw 82 mph across the diamond. Ran a 4.68 down the line on his dig to first base, that will have to improve as he matures. Big time bat for me.
College Outlook: Offensive right-handed hitting third baseman, middle of the order type bat. Advanced at the plate, solid defensively at 3B.
Receiving Interest: New England Schools
