New England Top Five Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles for Connecticut - #4 Matthew Cleveland

Matthew Cleveland#4 Matthew Cleveland, RHP, Windsor, 2016 (Florida Southwestern JC commit)
Background: Big and athletic right-hander. 6-foot-5, 200-pounds with some room to grow in the frame. Arm works from a ¾ slot and he has a feel for repeating a simple and online delivery. The fastball sat in the upper-80s and bumped up to 91 mph. The ball has life and explodes out of his hand. The slider is short and hard, reaching 79 and had good tilt to it. The athleticism is great and the projectabilty is outstanding. Should be a good draft out of high school.

Ranking: Cleveland is ranked 3rd in New England's 2016 class and 40th overall.
