New England Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #9 Holden White

#9 Holden White, LHP, Kingswood Oxford, 2016 (Wake Forest commit)
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3,180-pound left-handed pitcher. An athletic body with tons of room to put weight on. Throws from a natural ¾ slot. The arm path is clean, free and easy. Fastball sits 87-91 and has touched 91 at times, with late arm-side run when he stays on time with his delivery. At times steps across his body, which in return may make it difficult to locate to glove side. Curveball is 67-69, rotation depends to loose, depth on it needs to later. White has the arm speed and correct slot to turn the curve ball into a tight late breaking slider, will be an absolute nightmare for left-handed hitters. Changeup is a plus pitch with proper spin to it, with the same arm speed as fastball, change was 78-80.

Overview: In 2016, the top rated prospect in the '16 class for the New England Region and 54th ranked prospect overall committed to the Demon Deacons and then put on a show throughout the spring and summer seasons. Look for the freshman at Wake Forest to do big things in the years to come.
