The Florida Underclass Games saw its’ share of good young pitchers at the showcase August 5, and leading the way with the top fast ball velocity was 2018 RHP Andrew Aultman from Graceville HS. Aultman, whose younger brother Parker serves as his catcher in High School and also during the game.

At 6-foot-2, 1705 pounds, he is a tall loose lean athletic projectable guy with a loose live arm at a high ¾ slot. He’s got a bit of a slinger type arm action, meaning he opens a bit early in back and works under the ball, but he is consistent out front. He’s a little deep in back and laAndrew Aultmannds slightly across his body. Has good arm speed with projection. The fast ball was 84-88 mph with some late tail action and downhill tilt when he gets out front. The curve ball was 71-73 mph with ¾ rotation. Occasionally gets around it, but should tighten up with added velocity. The change up was 76-77 mph with good arm speed and same fast ball action. Threw a lot of strikes with all three pitches. Very young, very athletic and a very projectable arm. He should start to attract attention from some colleges very soon with his little brother not far behind him.
