Last week the Overall Class of 2021 Rankings were updated and expanded. Shortly following, our own Florida Class of 2021 Rankings were updated and expanded to 100 prospects. Being in such a baseball rich state means many of the prospects here are receving offers and committing earlier than other parts.

Taking a glimpse at the Top 100 shows that 39 of the 100 have already delcared a commitment. This leaves 61 prospects who are still searching for a home. Athlough there is no reason to panic for these guys, as there is plenty of time left in the recruiting process.

Today, we start our presentation of the top uncommitted 2021s in Florida with, arguably the most coveted position, pitchers. These 10 pitchers each have promising careers ahead of them.

Top Uncommitted Pitchers

Owen Flynn RHP / 3B / Windermere, FL / 2021

07/23/18- Righty shows super projectable frame w/ easy arm-speed.  Tall, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength.  Prototypical pitcher frame w/ lot of physical projection, has barely scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Super quick arm, long and loose arm action.  Clean, repeatable delivery.  Athletic, ran a 4.41 down the line as a position player.  Straight FB shows occasional ride through the zone.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape.  Around the zone, projects to command.

Bryan Boully RHP / 3B / Strawberry Crest , FL / 2021

11/05/17- One of the most intriguing young players in attendance, at 6-foot, 185 pounds he has a strong lower half with room to grow. There is some length in the arm action from a high 3/4 slot, but has present arm strength with the fastball ranging from 82-84 mph. Showed a straight changeup at 71-72 mph and a short, hard slider at 72-75 mph.

Joeseph Montalvo RHP / SS / Central Pointe Christian , FL / 2021

08/15/18- A very athletic and projectable frame. Athletic actions in the middle with a plus arm. Switch hitter who creates leverage and bat speed and will have power potential. On the mound, he has a loose and easy arm action. Working from a 3/4 slot, the fastball ranged from 82-85 mph. The curveball showed depth at 69 mph and overall has an extremely high ceiling.

Connor Manning RHP / 1B / Elite Squad Baseball Academy , FL / 2021

08/25/18- 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, he has present strength in his frame. While the velocity was a bit down at 81-82 mph, he has some heaviness on the fastball and has natural cut. He also showed a feel for both a 76-77 mph changeup and a 72-74 mph curveball. Overall, will be an arm to follow.
