Team Florida got the win today against Team Carolina 10-2 with 10 hits from the offense and five walks. The defense made plays behind solid pitching led by Cameron Clines, Dominic Castellano and Bradley Hodges.

Player of the game for Florida was 2021 Connor Wilt with 0.2 innings pitched and added a double and a run scored. Wilt has a violent, physical swing. Barreled one into the opposite field gap for a double. Present quickness in the hands and extension/bat path is there. Potential for power left-handed bat.  

2021 Cameron Clines looked on the mound today showing a high ceiling for growth with frame and loose arm action. Fastball sitting 87-88, touching 89, has heavy sink and run action from a good downward plane. 2105 top spin rate. Clean, quick arm.

2021 Dominic Castellano was effective for two innings getting a lot of ground ball outs today with solid defense behind him. He sat 83-84 and touched 86 at times.

Team Florida is back tomorrow at 8:15 PM against Team Georgia.
