Spring Hill, FL - Thursday night featured a close matchup between Calvary Christian taking on Bishop McLaughlin. Getting the start for Bishop was new St. Johns River commit, 2021 RHP Tanner Boccabello. A 6-foot-3, 215 pound right hander, Boccabello works downhill with running action on the fastball. Attacked both sides of the plate and was very effective on the inner half vs righties. He sat 85-89 with the fastball and would go 5 innings allowing 2 runs for Bishop.

On the other side for Calvary, 2021 RHP Jack Cebert (USF) got the start. Up tempo athletic delivery with easy loose arm action. Cebert sat 86-89 with the fastball and mixed in an above average breaking ball. Cebert would go 4.2 innings allowing 2 unearned runs with 7 strikeouts.
