PBR:  Why did you choose Southeastern CC?
DUCKETT: I chose Southeastern because of their pitching program and coaching staff.

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?
DUCKETT: Iowa Western.

PBR:  Where did they first see you? How did your relationship develop with the coaching staff?
DUCKETT: Double header at SEP when I hit 92. They are awesome coaches and I talk to the pitching coach a lot.

PBR: What role do you expect to play your first year on campus?
DUCKETT: I hope to be a starter as a freshman there and get a lot of innings in.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
DUCKETT: My biggest impact would have to be my cousin because of how much we played baseball together growing up; he taught me so much.

PBR: What have you worked on/improved since last year?
DUCKETT: My velocity, lower half and off-speed have improved since last year.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have played against or with?
DUCKETT: Jack Dreyer, we always competed with each other in the offseason, whether that was velocity or sprints or random stuff, it was always a competition. I wouldn't be as good if it wasn't for Jack pushing me.

PBR:  What are your thoughts on the recruiting process? Any advice for other players who have the desire to play college baseball.
DUCKETT: The process can be stressful but fun at the same time. Only advice I would have is wait until you're a Junior or a Senior to commit to a school, because that's when you truly know what you want from a school.
