Prep Baseball Report Iowa

PBR Iowa strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

PBR: Why did you choose the University of Iowa?
LINK: I’ve always wanted to be a Hawkeye and it felt like home right away.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
LINK: I was also considering SEMO, South Dakota State, and a few Juco schools.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
LINK: I feel very relieved, but the process was very fun and something I’ll remember forever.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
LINK: Being closer to my family.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
LINK: My family has helped me the most to where I am today by supporting me with whatever I decided to do and provided me with a lot of opportunities to be successful.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
LINK: The recruiting process was very fun but can also get difficult and stressful at times

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
LINK: The best player I have played against would probably have to be Jarred Kelenic.
