College coaches looking for some athletic, projectable position players are going to want to jot down the players in, On the Hunt, today as each one has a high ceiling. Four of the young prospects come from a loaded 2020 Texas travel program including a big, physical right-handed arm that has been up to 87 mph. Two 2019 standouts from a recent PBR Oklahoma event built a case to become national names on the recruiting circuit, and a physical, power-hitting left hander from Iowa in the 2019 class will be making a name for himself later in the summer...possibly at August’s PBR Future Games.

Be sure to keep a lookout for Monday’s, On the Hunt, as the top performers from PBR New Jersey and Ohio’s events, that I visited, will start being released.

Jack Riedel SS / 2B / Memorial, TX / 2020

At 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, Riedel has an athletic frame that is easy to project. He is a crisp runner, and his swing is fluent from the left side with balance. His hands load easily down and back, and show quickness in the zone on an upward plane. Riedel looks like he is just starting to grow into his long frame, and as he begins to understand new motor parents, should take a big step forward in the next couple of years. He also shows off a whippy arm with the capability to make throws from all angles.
