Statistics
PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?
WEIMAN: I chose Parkland because of the coaching staff, and their attitude towards the game, as well as the recent success of the program.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
WEIMAN: I was also considering DMACC and Blackhawk.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him
WEIMAN: The coaching staff first saw me at a PBR Event this fall. After that they reached out and we kept in touch through texting.
PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
WEIMAN: I never really felt anxious about the process, so now I’m just excited to get to Parkland and work even harder to get to the next step in my baseball career.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
WEIMAN: There wasn’t one deciding factor that put my decision over the top. It was a combination of the aggressiveness the coaches preached, and the facilities that made it a perfect fit for me.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
WEIMAN: My coaches and teammates have helped me tremendously up to this point, but my parents have done so much to put me in the position I am in, and I am so thankful for that.
PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
WEIMAN: The recruiting process went a little slower than I anticipated. I was excited to find the perfect school and wanted the process to move a little faster than it did. I knew I was going to commit to Parkland as soon as I finished my visit.
PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
WEIMAN: Obviously our immediate plans are to get bigger, faster, and stronger. They see me as a utility guy that will be able to make an impact at almost any position on the field.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
WEIMAN: My most memorable baseball moment is winning the 2018 3A state championship with my high school team.
PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
WEIMAN: The best player I have ever competed against is Carter Baumler.
