PBR Iowa strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
PENDERGAST: Kirkwood CC, DMACC, Iowa Central CC, Central College, Northwestern College and Coe College.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
PENDERGAST: Kirkwood CC, DMACC and Iowa Central In the near future.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
PENDERGAST: Any way that could make an education affordable, winning program and culture with a reputation of good player development, a shot at a conference and national championship at whatever level I end up playing at. Currently undecided on what to major in but I’m leaning on some kind of sports management degree, so any school with that major would be ideal.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
PENDERGAST: Hitting a home run in my first at bat of the year, Beating Dowling, sweeping Urbandale, winning conference, being in the rankings almost every week of the season, earning a one seed in sub-state as a city school, being selected first team all-state.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
PENDERGAST: Get Roosevelt back to the state tournament and hopefully be able to bring home the first championship in school history. I’d also like to be named first team all-state for the second year in a row.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
PENDERGAST: No

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
PENDERGAST: I have a 3.56 GPA and scored a 23 on the ACT.
