PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
CUTSFORTH: I have been very fortunate to have had a number of schools express interest in me as a player and a student.  The main schools that I have heard from are DMACC, Heartland, Dakota County, Kankakee, Southwestern Iowa, Southeastern Nebraska, Black Hawk, Iowa Lakes, Lake County, and Ellsworth.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
CUTSFORTH: So far I have been able to visit Heartland, DMACC, Dakota County, Southwestern Iowa, and Iowa Lakes.  I am in the process of setting up visits over the next couple of months with the other schools that have contacted me as well.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
CUTSFORTH: At this point I'm very open as to what I am looking for in a school and a baseball program.  I definitely want to be at a program that sees potential in me and really wants me in their program.  The coaching staff is very important to me as well.  It is important to me to feel comfortable with the coaching staff, and know that they have a good system to develop their players to reach their full potential.  I also want to find a school that focuses on the academics and makes sure that their players are ready to move onto a four year school.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
CUTSFORTH: The highlight of my junior year was seeing the development of our team throughout the year.  We were a very young team and made great improvement as the season went on.  We made it to the Sub-state finals and went down 2-3 to the team that finished runner up in the state championship game.  The growth and progress we made as a team during the season was very rewarding

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
CUTSFORTH: As a team, our goal is definitely to make it to the state tournament, and then to make a run for a state championship. My personal goals are to keep grinding with my training each day to improve every aspect of my game so I can be the best player and teammate that I can be for this next season.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
CUTSFORTH: I play football as well, and am very excited that the season has started.  I play receiver, safety, kicker, and punter for my team.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
CUTSFORTH: I scored a 19 on my ACT and have a 3.15 GPA.
