The PBR IA Summer Launch- Central Iowa event took place on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021. The event was held at SportsPlex West in Waukee, IA. The event featured prospects from the 2021-2024 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from the players in attendance.

SCOUTING REPORTS (GRAD & ALPHA)

2021 GRADS

Jalen Aguiniga, Southeast Polk (IA), 2021
Positional Profile: 2B/3B
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds.
Defense: INF - 74 mph. Works low to ground, softer hands, quick release on throws, solid overall actions.
Hit: RHH. Open stance striding to square, stays compact, solid bat speed, spins off occasionally, mid/pull approach with line drive and ground ball contact.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 6.73 runner in the 60. 

Makale Sercy, Southeast Polk (IA), 2021
Positional Profile: OF/IF
Body: 5-5, 165-pounds.
IF Defense: INF - 79 mph. 2B actions, solid athleticism, fields enough to stick at that position.
OF Defense: OF - 84 mph. Confident in field, above avg. footwork, arm is clean with carry and accuracy to target.
Hit: RHH. Square stance, hovers into body load, some uphill path, has compact strength, shows ability to drive baseball well.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity from the tee.  

Jace Aguiniga, Southeast Polk (IA), 2022
Positional Profile: 2B/3B
Body: 5-11, 165-pounds.
Defense: INF - 71 mph. Works around and through, plays himself into tough hops, glove is soft and throws are accurate to bag.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, early hand rhythm, flat plane through contact, raw swing, flashes hard line drives occasionally to pull side of field.
Power: 72 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.01 runner in the 60.

Body: 6-3, 175-pounds.
Defense: OF - 82 mph.
