The Quad Cities Open took place on Sunday, September 24 at Black Hawk College in Moline, IL. Prospects from all classes participated in a pro-style workout in front on the PBR Scouting Staff. Today, we start the event analysis with a stats story.

2018 P.T. Boeye led the way, running a 7.06 laser-timed 60. 2021 Caden Kipper wasn't far behind running a 7.21 60.
2019 Spencer Hasselroth stood out with his fastball up to 87 mph. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-hander also showed potential for an above-average three-pitch mix.
Unsigned senior OF Payton Young registered a 95 mph exit velocity off of a tee while Noah McCreary was right behind with a 93 mph exit velocity.
Iowa was well represented on the infield as three of the top four arms hail from Iowa.
Payton Young, who registered the top exit velocity also led the way from the outfield, clocked at 86 mph.
A couple of underclassman show well including 2020 Nicholas Hemken who had a low pop time of 2.00.
2020 Nicholas Hemken has a strong, accurate arm that carries threw the bag and was clocked at 78 mph.
