5-foot-11, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #33 ranked player in IA 2020 class. 6.88 runner. Open stance, controlled leg kick trigger, clean path with solid bat speed, consistently on time and squares baseball, projectable pop in bat, 91 mph exit velocity. Higher fielding position, sure hands, easier actions, shows overall sound fielding ability, accurate to bag with carry on throws, 82 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; tempo to delivery, compact arm action, clean out front with extension to plate. Fastball from ¾ slot was 84-86 mph with larger movement and late cutting action for strikes. Sharp late break on 10/4 slider. Late diving action on changeup in bottom of zone.

5-foot-11, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 6.96 runner. Open stance, varying load, flashes quality rhythm at times, leg kick trigger, good extension through contact, present strength with ability to drive baseball, 92 mph exit velocity. Plays around and through, moves flat-footed at times, confident hands, shows ability to make plays, above avg. carry and accuracy to bag, profiles as college third baseman, 85 mph arm across infield. On mound; controlled rocker step into higher tuck and turn, swings down mound and lands across body, creates cross-fire delivery with good arm speed. Fastball was 85-86 mph, touching 88 mph, with slight running action to plate. Lands tight spinning 11/5 breaking ball for strikes. Good arm action with solid run, fade and sink on changeup.

 

3/11/18- 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.03 runner. Open stance, body load, rolls hands into hitting slot, larger movements, avg. consistency, has present strength, flashes pop in bat when on time, 90 mph exit velocity. Slightly stiff movements, sure hands, accurate to bag, has carry on throws, 82 mph arm strength. On mound; rocker step into higher tuck and turn, clean compact arm action, swings front leg down mound and lands across body. Fastball was 79-80 mph; with flashes of downhill plane. Breaking ball has slider action with small shape and break. Avg. changeup currently; thrown with stiff wrist.
