Evaluation: 3/13/16- 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Physical build with strength. 7.8 60 time. Open stance with knee to knee trigger. Longer stride into contact. Deeper load but works hands back into a slot allowing short contact to baseball. Flashes pop in bat to pull side of field with mid/pull approach. Above avg. extension through contact. 90 mph exit velocity. Decent flexibility behind plate. Receives with thumb down occasionally. Needs to improve footwork on throws to second. Lower arm slot producing 2.15 pop time with 72 mph arm strength.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
MCCLEARY: I have been receiving the most interest from Winona State and U. of Dubuque.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
MCCLEARY: I plan on taking visits in September

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
MCCLEARY: Academics are very important to me and I am looking for a good engineering program or pre-dental program.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
MCCLEARY: I was All-Conference and All-District this year.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
MCCLEARY: My goals for this year are to hit .400+, have 15+ doubles, and help my team make the state tournament at Principal Park.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
MCCLEARY: I also play football.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
MCCLEARY: I have a 4.62 GPA and currently have a 23 on the ACT.
