Evaluation: 8/7/16- 5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. Has made solid improvements through junior year; one of better infield performers at event. Short open stance, strides into contact, good rhythm with hands, compact swing with strength, shows ability to use whole field, aggressive swing with consistent solid contact, 86 mph exit velocity. Good angles through baseball, above avg. hands and feet, short quick release with clean arm action, accurate to bag with carry, 82 mph arm strength.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
SASS: St. Cloud State, Luther, Cornell, University of Dubuque and Upper Iowa

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
SASS: I have visited all the school's listed above and plan on taking second visits to St. Cloud State and U. of Dubuque.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
SASS: Good baseball program where I can improve and excel. Good academics. Good surrounding community with good sized town.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
SASS: .300+ batting avg in sophomore/junior seasons, .450 on base percentage both years. 34 hits both years. 16+ RBI.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
SASS: To help my team win a state championship and to get faster and stronger in the offseason to improve my game in all aspects this year.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
SASS: Basketball

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
SASS: I have a 23 ACT and a 3.1 GPA.
