Evaluation: 8/7/16- 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Square stance, body load with active hands, heavy leg kick trigger, extra movement with head and eyes, aggressive swinger, mid/pull approach, hard line drive and fly ball contact, 83 mph exit velocity. Solid actions in outfield, clean glove action, extra step on throws, compact arm circle, quicker release, accurate to target with above avg. arm strength, 89 mph arm strength from outfield. Solid actions at third base, works from ground up, fields out front, solid glove, active feet, accurate arm across, can throw from multiple slots, good body control on slow roller, 80 mph arm across infield with quick release.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
HAYES: Bradley, Illinois State, Upper Iowa, Minnesota State, Luther, Central, and Kirkwood CC.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
HAYES: I have visited Bradley, Upper Iowa, Luther, Central, and Kirkwood.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
HAYES: I'm looking for a school that can give me a great education to help me get into a top level physical therapy school after I finish my undergraduate work. I also want to go somewhere that has a good baseball program to help me develop into the best player I can be.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
HAYES: Reaching the sub-state final for the second year in a row and winning 20 games as a team again.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
HAYES: We want to win more than 20 games again this year and we want to make it to the state tournament. Personally I want to find a way to help my team win as many games as possible.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
HAYES: I concentrate solely on baseball.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
HAYES: I have a 27 ACT and a 3.77 GPA.
