Evaluation: 8/7/16- 6-foot, 162-pound left-handed pitcher. Simple delivery, keeps front side on, with quicker arm from ¾ slot. Running action on fastball at 78-81 mph. Breaking ball lacked velocity, inconsistent release point, 57-61 mph curveball. Shows feel for 61-64 mph changeup with above avg. run and fade. Left on left bullpen type arm that could develop in college with instruction.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
SWINTON: Cornell College has shown interest in me.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
SWINTON: I have visited Cornell and Central for baseball, and St. Ambrose for education.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
SWINTON: My highlights from this past year was my 2-hitter twice while pitching, earning the save the night after my grandfather passed away and I received the game ball, and my best is when I had an 18 strikeout game, which was my first game back from when I tweaked my ankle.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
SWINTON: My goals for next season is to have an ERA under 1.25, have 100+ K's, and have a batting average of at least .375.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
SWINTON: My GPA is 3.3 and I took the ACT Sep. 10.
