PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
TOWNSEND: I have received interest from Dordt, Iowa Central, Upper Iowa and Greenville University.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
TOWNSEND: I have taken visits; and plan to visit Iowa Lakes soon.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
TOWNSEND: I’m looking for a good education, an agribusiness program, and a great college atmosphere. I would like to go out of state but open to opportunities in-state, and a solid baseball team.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
TOWNSEND: Some highlights are throwing a shutout game in the Metro tournament, having an opponent batting average of 0.121, and being one of the top pitchers for my team.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
TOWNSEND: My goals for this year is to bring my grades up from a bad freshman and sophomore year, find a home for me next year academically and for my sport. I want to grow my leadership abilities as I am the team captain this year.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
TOWNSEND: No, I don't. I am focusing on offseason training in the weight room and the cages

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
TOWNSEND: My GPA is 2.92 and ACT is a 20.
