PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
MARTIN: Augustana, Luther College, Coe College and a few junior colleges in Iowa.

PBR: Have you developed a relationship with any specific coaches?
MARTIN: No, just trying to learn as much as I can about each school.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? If so, please describe each visit.
MARTIN: I visited Indian Hills CC & took an unofficial visit to the U. of Minnesota. I liked the feel of a small community college.  I would probably get more playing time my first year or two.  2-year school would be best place to build my skills.  The coaching staff at U. of Minnesota was very interesting to talk to.  They spent a considerable amount of time with me; they still would need to see me pitch live.

PBR: Do you have any visits scheduled?
MARTIN: I am currently scheduling other visits.

PBR: Do you have any offers at this stage?
MARTIN: I do not have any offers yet.

PBR: Do you have a timeline for your commitment?
MARTIN: I would like to have a decision finalized before the start of my senior year.

PBR: Do you have a favorite at this stage? If so, who and why?
MARTIN: I don’t have a favorite or preference; I’m open to all sizes & levels of schools

PBR: What showcases or events have been most meaningful to your recruitment thus far?
MARTIN: I’ve attend a Baseball Factory event along with the Top Prospect Games with PBR.  I attended the U. of Iowa camp over Labor Day weekend; it mostly offered me opportunities to attend other camps and showcases.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
MARTIN: I have a 3.2 GPA and a 20 on the ACT. I plan on re-taking the ACT at least two more times this year.
