The 2024 Idaho high school baseball season is finally here and as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Idaho.

Questionnaires were sent out to all Idaho High School coaches to provide insight on their programs. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Idaho. With the season already underway, our staff will look to provide some insight on how team's season have started, as well as their outlook the rest of the way.

The Hillcrest Knights are on a roll to start the season as they opened up with a 10-8 win over Preston in extra-innings and followed that up by going 4-1 in a tournament as they're now 5-1 through their first six games. The team has high hopes for the season as they return nine starters and seven arms. There's plenty of experience on the team and it's shown early on this year, but they have several young names coming through the pipeline, as well, who will be contributing to the team for several years.
