The 2024 Idaho high school baseball season is finally here and as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Idaho.

Questionnaires were sent out to all Idaho High School coaches to provide insight on their programs. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Idaho. With the season already underway, our staff will look to provide some insight on how team's season have started, as well as their outlook the rest of the way.

Sugar Salem enters the season following a strong 2023 that saw them lose just four of their 25 games with one of those four losses coming in the State 3A semi-finals as they fell to Kimberly 9-8 in extra innings. The Diggers are one of the premiere programs in Idaho's 3A class right now and boasts several Division I talents with several uncommitted names trending in that direction, as well. Sugar Salem is currently 3-2 to start the season but have their sights set on much more as they return a strong crop of upperclassmen looking to put the Diggers back on top.
