BOISE, ID – On Saturday, October 24th, 2026, the Prep Baseball Idaho staff hosted the 2nd of 2 Idaho Fall ID events, with this one being held at the reigning 6A state champions field, Owyhee High School. This identifier event brought together over 30 prospects from across the Gem State in the 2027-2030 classes, providing a critical late-fall showcase opportunity for Idaho’s aspiring next level athletes.

Each participant received a complete Prep Baseball profile update including a headshot, video, verified showcase metrics, and advanced data. With programs across the Pacific Northwest and the country actively tracking development in Idaho, this event served as a vital evaluation benchmark at the kickoff of the Fall circuit. Our staff got an up-close look at physical projection, refined skill sets, and underclassmen trending toward standout campaigns. Cooper Gardner OF / RHP / Blackfoot, ID / 2027 Cooper made the trip up to Bosie from Blackfoot, and  his presence was felt with his skills and ease of actions throughout the workout. Another sleeper prospect in the 2027 class with an athletic, physical build, and tools that will continue to develop.  Highlights: Max EV (89.3) Avg EV (81) Max Dist (314') 60 Time (7.37) OF Velo (79)

Ayden Byington 2B / C / Owyhee, ID / 2027 The quickest player at the event with a 6.85 60, and from the catcher position, was Ayden. He is a smooth operator in the infield as well with strong foundational footwork that move through the ball with ease. A versatile defender and quality athlete, he has a chance to make an impact for the reigning champs up the middle or behind the dish. Zavier McFee RHP / 1B / Lewiston High School, ID / 2027 The 6’3 175lb right-hander made the trek down from Lewiston for his workout, and he made it worth his while, filling up the zone. There is a lot of upside with his ability to locate pitches, and the shear length of his limbs and physical build. The arm action works and has some whip to it, a big year offseason in the weight room and Zavier could be a breakout prospect.  Highlights: Max FB (83.4) FB Range (78-82) CV (68-70) CH (73-74)

2028

Gavin Palace OF / RHP / Eagle, ID / 2028 At 6’3 189 Gavin looks the part of a next level athlete, and he has earned it with a strong work ethic and mature character. Smooth mover in the outfield, the arm talent is there and continues to grow. The hit tool uses home plate as a launch pad with his ability to hit the ball hard to all fields. The Eagle Mustangs also have a high end arm for them this year with his ability to command the zone and locate all three of his pitches. Must follow! Zander Jakovac SS / 2B / Owyhee, ID / 2028 Twitchy athlete with real physical and athletic upside up the middle. Moves well with a strong build that has ample room for added growth. The reigning state champs continue to reload and look ready to defend their title once again, with quality players like Zander ready to step up.  Highlights: Max EV (94.3) Avg EV (81.8) Max Dist (335') 60 Time (7.19) INF Velo (73)

2029

Crew Stringer SS / 2B / Fruitland High School, ID / 2029 Mr Stringer is a gamer, period!  He moves efficiently all over the field with a strong arm that carries well. He is able to make a lot of the plays up the middle, and at the plate he is a strong gap to gap hitter that stays behind the ball really well. Intriguing sophomore that looks ready for a big 2027.  Highlights: Max EV (93.4) Avg EV (84) Max Dist (312') 60 Time (7.20) INF Velo (80)

Colton Johnson C / OF / Timberline, ID / 2029 Impressive workout from the rising sophomore, leading the entire event in Max EV during the BP round. Loud contact with some natural strength. Attends a strong program and will continue to develop and mature physically, intriguing follow in the 2029 class.  Highlights: Max EV (101.8) Avg EV (91.7) Max Dist (377') 60 Time (7.12) OF Velo (73)

2030

Braden Louwsma C / 3B / Eagle, ID / 2030 A standout at the event, Braden flashed real upside offensively and is an absolute wall behind the plate. Physical presence is there now, and can also play the left side of the infield. On the mound, surprising velocities up to 82.6 showing his athleticism and legitimate versatility. Did we mention his also a switch-hitter?? There is a lot to like here from the game to the phyiscal projection, and the character appears to be a trait as well. Bright future and a must follow for the class that we expect to contribute heavily at the Varsity level in 2027.  Highlights: Max EV (95.5) Avg EV (81.3) Max Dist (343') 60 Time (7.42) INF Velo (80) Pop Time (1.94-2.06)

Nate Watson SS / RHP / Eagle, ID / 2030 Very physical build, smooth repeatable LH swing that produces a lot of pullside power. Athletic in the infield, with a strong arm that can make throws from anywhere on the left side. Interesting follow in the 2030 class that made a strong statement last Saturday.  Highlights: Max EV (90.3) Avg EV (83.7) Max Dist (310') 60 Time (7.67) INF Velo (79)

Devon Moe C / OF / Eagle, ID / 2030 Another Eagle freshman backstop that stood out with his workout last Saturday.  Operated really well behind the plate with easy movements, and Surprised the Prep Baseball Idaho staff with his ability to receive so quietly. His BP round was filled with hard hit balls, the power tool is present and will continue to grow over time. Exciting young prospect and Eagle looks to be dangerous for years to come.  Highlights: Max EV (89.6) Avg EV (81.6) Max Dist (319') 60 Time (7.32) OF Velo (72)
