KY College Prospect Showcase: Corner Infield Analysis

On Sunday, January 19, a total of 49 prospects showcased their abilities to the PBR Kentucky staff and several college coaches.  The group of corner infielders included some solid performers, both from players who were attending their first PBR event and players who we have seen at previous events that continue to improve their numbers.

A few quick notes on the corner infielders:

+ Unsigned Senior Justin Warren, 3B, Henry Clay HS, continues to show improved arm strength and foot speed with a solid approach at the plate.

+ Ryan Garner, 1B/OF/LHP, McCracken County HS, is an athletic first baseman but at 5-foot-10 likely projects as an OF where he showed an 80 mph arm.  Solid Class of 2015 prospect

+ JT Morsey, 1B, Bullitt East HS, shows quick hands from the left side of the plate and is a left-handed bat to keep an eye on in the 2016 class.

+ Ean Barker, 3B/RHP, Central Hardin HS, shows the potential to be a power bat in the 2016 class.

+ Jack Schneider, 3B/RHP, Daviess County HS, showed big arm strength across the field at 85 mph.  The freshman shows big power potential at the plate as well.
