By Chris Fuller and PBR Kentucky Staff

More than 70 players convened at Bellarmine University on July 15 for the Kentucky College Prospect Showcase.  The following is a look at the group of pitchers who participated in the event as a total of 27 prospects took the mound.  Garrett Wilson showed the top fastball velocity of the event at 85 mph while several other pitchers turned in solid performances.

Players are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Keegan Breese, SS/RHP, McCracken County HS, 2016
5-foot-10, 150-pound prospect uses shorter arm action through a high ¾ arm slot, arm is quick, repeats delivery well with minimal effort, fastball shows good arm-side run at 80-81 topping at 82, curveball showed sharp 11/5 action with some depth at 66-67 mph, throws a very good changeup with big arm-side run and sink and fastball arm speed at 73-74, shows the ability to throw strikes with all three pitches, arm works well and should see velocity gains in the near future.
