2024 Future Games: Quick Hits (Workout Day)
July 25, 2024
Emerson, GA- Our biggest national event of the summer and the country's biggest uncommitted event each year, the Future Games, kicked off yesterday at the Lakepoint Sports Complex. All of our position-players were able to go through a pro-style workout in front of 300+ college coaches, that included running the 60 yard dash, defensive evaluations, and batting practice. Below, we take a look at a few of the standout performers from yesterday.
+ 2026 OF Braylen Montgomery (Walker HS)
Long and projectable 6'4" 190 lbs. frame that's easy to dream on. The Walker HS product is without a doubt the most "tooled" up prospect on this year's Future Games team and he showed it yesterday. He started his day off by posting a Prep Baseball personal-best 6.63 laser-timed 60 and was up to 89 mph from the outfield. Montgomery's BP round was also stellar, as he used lightning quick hands with present bat speed to blister balls from gap to gap with a max exit velocity of 102.5 mph.

6’4” 190 lbs.
Impressive round of BP this morning. Quick hands & present bat speed produced a max EV of 102.5 mph 🔥. Really good athlete, posted a 6.63 laser-timed 60. Good follow this week. #BeSeen #PBFG24@ShooterHunt | @AlexArmandPBR pic.twitter.com/avLa0DlePO
+ 2026 OF/RHP Kross Gillen (Opelousas Catholic HS)
6'2" 185 lbs. frame with present physicality. Gillen certainly put himself on the map for the rest of the week with college recruiters, after a really nice showing on Wednesday. The Opelousas Catholic product recorded a personal best in the 60 at 6.87 and was also up to 87 mph from the outfield. Filling up the right-handed batter's box with a wider base; Gillen used a simple load and delivered a heavy barrel to contact that produced loud results, as he sent a couple of majestic shots out to the pull-side with one going over the scoreboard at Lakepoint. He's a must-follow the rest of the week.

+ 2026 UTIL Myles Ledoux (Barbe HS)
Our "4 Day Follow" leading up to the Future Games; Ledoux provided a glimpse on Wednesday at the type of versatile player that he could be at the next level. Participating in the defensive workout in the outfield, infield, and behind the dish, the Barbe product was up to 78 mph from the crouch with a 1.87 pop time. His BP round wasn't the "loudest", but he did exactly what he should've done, which is hit the ball hard, on a line, to all fields. As we start up gameplay today against Arkansas, we expect Ledoux to be an in-game performer.
