Bayou Preseason ID Preview: Roster & Check-In Times

The Prep Baseball Report Bayou Preseason ID at Southland Field in Houma, LA will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
The event is open to all players in the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes. This is a new event to the Prep Baseball Report winter calendar and the event is still accepting registrations.
Check-in for position players will begin at 8:20 AM and the event will kick off at 9:00 AM. Position players will go through a pro-style workout, which includes: run times, defensive evaluation with positional velocity, swing analysis with exit velocity and round of batting practice. Pitchers will throw bullpen sessions after the conclusion of the positional workouts. *Pitchers ONLY’s check-in will begin at 10:45 AM. As always, players will have their performances video-taped and hosted on the Prep Baseball Report multi-media platform that is subscribed to by over 750 college coaches and professional scouts.
Nicholls State recruit, 2018 INF Mason Turner (Terrebonne) is signed up to attend the event. Turner is currently ranked No. 20 in Louisiana’s 2018 class. 2019 RHP/IF Tom Biggs (West Monroe) is also registered for the Bayou Preseason ID, the 5-foot-11, 187-pound right-hander is currently ranked No. 14 in Louisiana's 2019 class and has reportedly run his fastball up to 92 mph this fall.
