Jordan Trapani C / 3B / St. Thomas Aquinas, LA / 2022Rankings StateRank: 96 / POS: 14
Trapani enjoyed a monster week at the plate for St. Thomas, as the Falcons won all three of their games. The Nicholls State signee hit at a .833 clip for the week (10-12), with three doubles, one triple, one homerun, and fourteen runs batted in. |
Trey Hawsey 1B / LHP / West Monroe, LA / 2024The former PBR Future Gamer has started to get hot at the plate and has helped the Rebels reel off fourteen straight wins. Hawsey went six for twelve (.500) for the week, with two doubles, two homeruns, and eight runs batted in. He also earned two saves on the mound. |
Pitcher of the Week
Noah Simon / Destrehan, LA / 2022Simon has been having a stellar senior campaign for the Wildcats and has cemented himself as one of the top uncommitted southpaw's in the senior class. For the week, he made two starts and earned the win in each. He tossed eleven innings, and gave up three hits and zero earned runs, with three walks and eighteen strikeouts. |

Brady Neyland OF / RHP / Zachary, LA / 2022Rankings StateRank: 44 / POS: 12
The uncommitted outfielder for the Broncos had a stellar week at the plate, helping Zachary to two big-time district wins over Live Oak HS. Neyland hit at a .714 clip for the week with a .750 on-base percentage, that included four runs batted in and two stolen bases. |
Gage Dufour LHP / Riverdale, LA / 2024Dufour helped out Riverdale HS both on the mound and at the plate last week. The southpaw recorded two wins on the mound, tossing eleven innings, while giving up zero earned runs with nine strikeouts. At the plate, he went two for three with one double, one run batted in, and two stolen bases.

Dylan Auzenne C / Carencro, LA / 2022The Carencro catcher enjoyed a nice week at the plate for the Bears. He recorded six hits in ten at-bats, with two doubles, one triple, one homerun, and seven runs batted in. |
Cabet Blanchard LHP / OF / Carencro, LA / 2022Blanchard earned one of the Bears four victories last week on the mound. The southpaw tossed a complete game, giving up one earned run, with two walks and ten strikeouts. |
Samuel Marsh RHP / 1B / Neville, LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 140 / POS: 21
The 6'4" big bodied right hander had an excellent start last week against Tioga HS; a game in which the Tigers won 10-0 in six innings. Marsh tossed five innings of no-hit baseball with zero walks and ten strikeouts. |
Remy Marsh 3B / 1B / Mandeville, LA / 2022Rankings StateRank: 95 / POS: 8
Marsh excelled both at the plate and on the mound last week for the Skippers. In a 5-4 win over Ponchatoula HS, Marsh earned the win by throwing six innings, while giving up two earned runs and recording five strikeouts. Offensively, he finished the week three for ten with two homeruns, four runs scored, and four runs batted in. |
Dane Watts / St. Thomas Aquinas, LA / 2022A Southeastern Louisiana signee; Watts had a monster week at the plate for the Falcons. He went a perfect six for six with one homerun, two doubles, one triple, and eleven runs scored. |
Gavin Foster / St. Thomas Aquinas, LA / 2022Foster was another guy who had a big week for the Falcons offensively, as St. Thomas Aquinas finished a perfect 4-0 last week. He went seven for ten at the plate with one double and eight runs batted in. |
Jay Smart / Many, LA / 2023Smart did a little bit of everything last week for Many HS, as they went 2-1 in three games played. He hit at a .500 clip with five runs scored, five runs batted in, and had five stolen bases. |
Hayden Evans / N/A, LA / 2024The sophomore shortstop/right-handed pitcher earned both of Many's wins on the mound last week and also hit .571 for the week with one homerun, two doubles, and five runs batted in. |
AJ Manasco C / Many, LA / 2022Rankings StateRank: 162 / POS: 23
Manasco threw out three would be base stealers in three games last week. At the plate, he hit .400 for the week with three doubles and three runs batted in. |
Bryce Leonard 3B / RHP / Ascension Catholic , LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 32 / POS: 2
For the week, Leonard went six for eight at the plate with two doubles and four runs batted in. On the mound, he earned a win by going five innings, giving up two hits and zero earned runs, with seven strikeouts. |
Landon Victorian RHP / SS / Barbe, LA / 2024The state's #1 ranked player in the 2024 class has been heating up on the mound for the Bucs and turned in another superb performance against Southside HS last week. Victorian tossed a complete game, giving up two hits and one earned run, with twelve strikeouts. |
Andrew Lee C / Ascension Episcopal School, LA / 2022Last year's District 7-2A MVP had a great week for the Blue Gators. In three games last week, the LSU-Eunice commit went five for nine at the plate with three doubles and ten runs batted in. He also successfully threw out all six baserunners who attempted to steal on him. |
Griffin Hebert 3B / Sam Houston, LA / 2024Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 2
Hebert has come on as of late for the Broncos on the mound in a big way. Last week, the University of Louisiana commit tossed a complete game, giving up two earned runs, to go along with twelve strikeouts against Lafayette HS. |
Eli Lirette OF / SS / Lakeshore, LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 50 / POS: 12
The Tulane University commit has been on a tear so far this spring and continued his hot hitting last week. Lirette went seven for eleven with one double and two triples last week. |
Andrew Prejean RHP / SS / Holy Savior Menard, LA / 2023Prejean has been the go-to guy on the mound for Holy Savior Menard and turned in another brilliant performance last week against Avoyelles Charter HS. He went six innings, giving up zero hits, zero earned, and zero walks, to go along with thirteen strikeouts. |
Andrew Landry / Ascension Catholic, LA / 2022Landry went four for eight at the plate last week, with one homerun, six runs scored, five runs batted in, and four stolen bases. In a 8-7 win over Liberty HS, Landry hit a three run homerun that eventually sealed the win for Ascension Christian HS. |
