Yesterday two Louisiana underclassmen participated in the workout portion of the PBR Future Games. The following are some quick notes on the two Louisiana players that will play for Team Select the next two days. They will be joined on Team Select by RHPs Blayne Enlow and Rafe Schindler, who are scheduled to throw on Friday.
+ Will Ryan, INF, Neville HS(2017)
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound infielder showed well during the workout portion of the Future Games, having as good a round of BP as anyone there. Displayed a short, compact stroke with a quality bat path, made consistent hard contact and recorded a 93 mph exit velocity. Defensively he showed fluid actions, soft hands, recorded an 87 mph positional velocity, but most likely projects to play third base down the road. Alos posted a 7.03 60 yard dash.
+Jordin LaBruzza, INF, Brother Martin HS(2018)
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound infielder showed advanced ability as a 2018 grad with perhaps the best actions, hands and transfer of any middle infielder. He showed solid range to go along with a positional velocity of 76 mph. The right-handed hitter showed a fluid, short, quick stroke that found consistent hard contact and boasted an 85 mph exit velocity. He also ran a 7.12 60 yard dash.
