PBR Future Games: Louisiana Day 2 Recap

Final: Louisiana/Arkansas 7, Missouri 3
The second day of the PBR Future Games consisted of every team in the event playing one game. Louisiana/Arkansas was paired with Missouri to open game action on Thursday.
Team Louisiana/Arkansas would get strong pitching performances, as they collected a 7-3 victory over Missouri in the opening game of the 2017 PBR Future Games.
Six pitchers in all would see the mound for Louisiana/Arkansas, with 2019 RHP Drew McDaniel (St. Thomas More HS, LA) getting the start. McDaniel was sharp in his one inning outing, pitching 87-91 mph with his fastball, and struck out three.
2019 RHP/OF Jace Pendarvis (Central Private HS, LA) was extremely effective in two innings of work, as he filled the strike zone up, pitching 85-88 mph with his fastball, and flashed a sharp slider at 75-76 mph, collecting four strikeouts on the day.
2019 RHP Thomas Wilhite (West Ouachita HS, LA) followed Pendarvis on the mound for Louisiana/Arkansas, and struck out four in two innings of work as well. The strong 6-foot-2 right-hander showed a clean, low-effort delivery on Thursday, sitting 87-91 mph with his fastball.
Offensively, 2019 SS Collier Cranford (Zachary HS, LA) and 2019 SS/OF Cameron Pradia (St. Louis HS, LA) would both collect hits and RBI in the contest.
2020 SS Davis Meche (Barbe HS, LA), 2019 C Clint Hargrave (Ouachita Christian HS, LA), and 2019 3B Peyton Lejeune (Teurlings Catholic HS, LA) would also all collect hits against Team Missouri on Thursday.
Tomorrow Team Louisiana matches up against Team Oklahoma/Kansas at 12:00 pm.
