Carter Griffin: OF/OF, (2021) Haughton, LA. 5-foot-9, 160-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in a balanced stance, has a quick load and uses a long stride. Displayed electric bat speed, a flat swing plane and high finish. Gap to gap approach. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 76 mph; has sure hands, athletic footwork and a natural exchange. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. He showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.8.
Smaller 5-foot-9 160 pound frame with room to add strength. Top of the order type with top-tier foot speed, posted a 6.52 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter hits from a balanced, athletic setup. Small, simple load with fluid rhythm. Short, compact swing, stays on plane with a flat path. Line-drive approach, with solid bat speed, posted an 93 mph exit velocity. Solid defender with efficient footwork. Showed athletic outfield actions with clean exchanges. Longer arm stroke into high-3/4 release with solid accuracy posted a positional velocity of 78 mph.
