Power 25 Team Rankings Updated

With the start of the 2016 season well underway, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana has updated its Power 25 team rankings.

+ The top of the rankings remain largely unchanged, as Barbe retains its No. 1 overall ranking with Catholic(BR) sliding up to No. 2 ahead of Ouachita Christian.

+ Central(BR) cracks the top 10 as the Wildcats are off to a great start, lead by 2017’s Ma’Khail Hilliard and Brady Jones.

+ The Hahnville Tigers are big risers in this update as they have been playing outstanding baseball to start the season. LHP Austin Perrin leads the way, and the Tigers will be a difficult beat when he toes the rubber.

+ Brusly cracked the rankings for the first time this season, after getting out to an impressive 10-0 start.

+ St. Thomas Aquinas jumps to No. 15, as they continue to play an outstanding brand of baseball. The Falcons are lead on the hill by 2018 RHP Alex Egan, who has shown advanced mound presence early in his young career.
