On Saturday, November 7, more than 50 of the top prospects from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Pre-Season All-State Games at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the pitchers that were in attendance.

Top Pitchers

1. Landon Marceaux, RHP, Destrehan HS(2018)
A 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 87-89 mph with late sink and advanced command. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape, tight spin, fastball arm speed and sharp break at 78-80 mph. Also showed advanced feel for changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 79-81 mph.

2. Haden Erbe, RHP, Crowley HS(2016)
A 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic frame. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with lightning quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 89-92 mph with heavy sink. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with near fastball arm speed, early break and occasional tight spin at 75-77 mpj. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 76-78 mph.

3.Ma’Khail Hilliard, RHP, Central(BR) HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 145-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action with lightning quick arm speed into a high-3/4 release and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square, and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 86-88 mph with late cut and life. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with late, sharp break and fastball arm speed at 76-78 mph. Also showed a changeup with fade action and fastball arm speed at 79-80 mph.

Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 85-86 mph with late sink and control. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with fastball arm speed and sharp break at 72-75 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

+ Brock Batty, LHP, Denham Springs HS(2017)
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with  sink and arm side run. Showed a feel for a curveball with 2/8 shape, tight spin and sharp, late break at 66-68 mph. As well, he displayed a quality change up with fastball arm speed, deception and late, hard fade action at 70-72 mph.

A 6-foot. 155-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action with quick arm speed into an over the top release with regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 80-82 mph with slight sink and was thrown for strikes. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with gradual break, near fastball arm speed and solid depth at 63-66 mph. Flashed changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 70-72 mph.

+Jesse Dinnat, RHP, Alexandria Senior HS(2016)
A 6-foot-3, 195-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong frame. Long, loose arm action with a slight stab into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction and lands square. Fastball sat 82-85 mph with solid angle and slight sink. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with late break and near fastball arm speed at 67-69 mph. Flashed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 74-75 mph.

A 6-foot, 155-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action with quick arm speed into high-3/4 release with regular effort. A 6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed pitcher with a long, lanky frame. Long, loose arm action into ¾ release with quick arm speed and whip, regular effort and solid balance. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with sink and control. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with gradual break and fastball arm speed at 73-74 mph. Also showed a solid changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 74-76 mph.

+ Aaron George, RHP, Ouachita Christian HS(2016)
A 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong, physically mature frame. A long arm action into a ¾ release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Displays solid rhythm, lands square, with in-line direction and level shoulders. Fastball sat 86-88 mph with heavy sink, outstanding angle, deception and was commanded well. Flashed above average breaking ball with 10/4 shape with fastball arm speed, solid tilt and sharp, late break at 77-78 mph.

A 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Left-handed pitcher with a long, loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid balance, front side and some effort. Fastball sat 85-87 mph with slight sink and quality control within the strike zone. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with occasional depth at 74-75 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

+ Austin Perrin, LHP, Hahnville HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 181-pound left-handed pitcher with an athletic, strong frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 82-83 mph with slight sink and command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with fastball arm speed and gradual break at 70-72 mph. Showed a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

A 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, physical, strong, and athletic frame. Right-handed pitcher with a short arm action and a stab on the backend into a high-3/4 release, quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 85-88 mph with sink, and was consistently throw within the strike zone. A 5-foot-11, 171-pound right-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Right-handed pitcher with a long, loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort.
