On Monday, Sept. 7, more than 80 players from across the state of Louisiana in the 2016-2019 classes participated in the Prep Baseball Report Prospect ID Showcase at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Hammond, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the outfielders in attendance. Tulane recruit, Stephen Sepcich (Jesuit HS) led the way showing multiple, above average present tools.

Top Outfield Prospects

1. Stephen Sepcich, OF, Jesuit HS(2017)
A 6-foot-2, 185-pound outfielder with a strong, physical, athletic frame. Outstanding defender with fluid footwork, athleticism, clean exchange, and plays through balls well. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 89 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, no load, leg kick, explosive lower half and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, creates solid extension, and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 90 mph. Also posted a 7.12 60 yard dash.

2. Bradley Yaeger, OF, St. Paul’s HS(2016)
A 6-foot, 190-pound outfielder with a lean, strong, athletic frame. Quality athlete that posted a 7.05 60 yard dash. Quality defender that showed fluid footwork, clean exchange and athleticism with a loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 82 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half, and excellent balance. Gap to gap type hitter with a short bat path, developing rhythm and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 91 mph.

3. Clay Terrebonne, OF, Oak Forest Academy(2016)
A 5-foot-9, 165-pound outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Solid defender with fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, plays through balls well with a loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, explosive lower half and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, short and compact stroke, and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph. Also posted a 7.2 60 yard dash.

4. Jeffrey Elkins, OF, AES HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Fast twitchy athlete that posted a 7.1 60 yard dash. Quality defender with fluid footwork, clean exchange and plays through balls well. Long arm action into a high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 81 mph. Right-handed hitter with balanced setup, no load, leg kick, explosive lower half, and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, creates solid extension and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 87 mph.

5. Mason Tucker, OF, St. Thomas More HS(2016)
A 5-foot-11, 180-pound outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced setup, no load, leg kick, explosive lower half, and solid balance. Gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, level bat path, and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 95 mph.
