Southern Louisiana Open: Stats Breakdown

The Southern Louisiana Open took place on Tuesday, July 18th, at Bayou Segnette Field, home of Loyola University, in Westwego, LA. The open event saw twenty prospects from across the state of Louisiana in attendance.
2019 OF Michael Clement (ED White) certainly opened some eyes at the Southern Louisiana Open, as the athletic outfielder posted an event best 6.62 60-yard dash time, showing explosive, fast-twitch athleticism. Clement also showed quality arm strength during the defensive evaluation portion of the event, posting an 87 mph positional velocity. A right-handed hitter, Clement also flashed raw tools at the plate with present strength at contact, posting an 89 mph exit velocity.
2018 2B/RHP Rhett Hebert (Zachary) is one to watch, as the 5-foot-10, 170-pound infielder put together one of the best rounds of batting practice of the day, posting an 86 mph exit velocity. A high-energy player, Hebert showed athleticism by posting a 7.01 60-yard dash, and looks to have gained some physicality in the last few months.
2018 OF Jordan Badame (Dutchtown) posted an event best 91 mph exit velocity, as the right-handed hitter stands at a physical 6-foot, 183-pounds. Badame also showed solid athleticsm for his strong frame, posting a 7.19 60-yard dash, as well as solid arm strength, throwing 83 mph from the outfield.
