Uncommitted Pitchers In Louisiana's 2017 Class

The last few days Prep Baseball Report Louisiana has looked ahead to the 2016 season focusing on a few seniors that remain unsigned heading into the prep season.

Today we take a look at six arms in the 2017 class that are currently uncommitted.

+ Ethan Campo, RHP, Northshore HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with a medium, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 82-85 mph with control and late life. Breaking ball showed 12/6 shape with fastball arm speed and late break at 68-69 mph. Also showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-76 mph.

+ Ma’Khail Hilliard, RHP, Central(BR) HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 145-pound right-handed pitcher with a lean, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action with lightning quick arm speed into a high-3/4 release and easy effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square, and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 86-88 mph with late cut and life. Breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with late, sharp break and fastball arm speed at 76-78 mph. Also showed a changeup with fade action and fastball arm speed at 79-80 mph.

+ Adam Goree, LHP, Barbe HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed pitcher with an average, athletic frame. Long, loose arm action into a high-3/4 release with solid balance, front side and some effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 85-87 mph with command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with sharp break and fastball arm speed at 73-74 mph. Showed quality changeup with fastball arm speed, fade action at 75-76 mph.

+ Rafe Schindler, RHP, Chalmette HS(2017)
A 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-handed pitcher a long, lean, athletic frame. Clean, athletic delivery with in-line direction, slight stab in arm swing and quick arm speed into a high-3/4 release. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with solid angle, life and command in two outings. Flashed an advanced feel for slider with tight spin, depth and deception at 76-77 mph.

+ Austin Perrin, LHP, Hahnville HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 181-pound left-handed pitcher with an athletic, strong frame. Long, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sits 82-84 mph with slight sink and command. Breaking ball showed 2/8 shape with fastball arm speed and gradual break at 70-72 mph. Showed a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 73-74 mph.

+ Maxwell Wagner, RHP, Catholic(BR) HS(2017)
A 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-handed pitcher with a large, strong, and athletic frame. Clean, long, loose arm action with regular effort, smooth rhythm throughout the delivery, and in-line direction. Fastball sat 84-86 mph touching 87 mph with a quick arm out of a high-3/4 release. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with near fastball arm speed, and gradual break at 69-72 mph. Showed a changeup with near fastball arm speed and slight fade action at 77-78 mph.
