Barham White: C, (2022) Ouachita Christian, LA. Vocal and energetic leader behind the plate. White displayed all of the traits one would want to see out of a catcher at Wednesday's Top Prospect Games. Displayed athletic footwork and a quick transfer releasing the ball from an over the top arm slot that resulted in a positional velocity of 72 mph and pop times of 1.95-2.02. At the plate, the RHH starts from a slightly open, balanced, and athletic stance. Hands are held just above shoulder height with rhythm. Simple load and stride to get back to center. Bat path is flat to contact with slightly uphill extension. Max exit velocity of 89 mph. Excellent student with a 4.0 GPA and ACT score of 30.
