Scouting Report

 

Positional Profile: RHP.  Starter profile.
Delivery: Starts in the middle of rubber and stays there.  Brings the ball down out of the glove with a short arm circle, releasing the ball from a ¾ arm slot.  Got backside through on every pitch. 
Arm Action: ¾ arm slot.  Short and quick arm action with minimal effort. 
FB: 83-86 mph.  Avg. spin of 1891 RPM, Max spin of 1975 RPM
CB: “11-5” in shape with average spin and depth at 72-73 mph

 

 

Positional Profile: MIF
Body: Athletic, lean, and wiry 6’0” 145 lbs. frame with plenty of room to add strength.  
Hit: Starts in a taller, athletic, balanced, and squared off stance. Simple load and stride.  Showed a level path, staying behind the baseball with slightly uphill extension, working gap to gap.  
Power: Max exit velocity of 84 mph. 
Arm:  High ¾ release.  Long and loose arm action. 89 mph positional velocity.
Defense:  Good instincts on the dirt with a good first step.  Athletic footwork.  Hands and feet worked well together.  Showed good lateral movement and the ability to throw from different arm slots. 
Run: Posted a 7.01 in the 60.
