Underclass Showcase: Stats Posted

The Underclass Showcase took place on Tuesday July 19, at Holy Cross high school in New Orleans, LA. The invite only event saw 24 of the top prospects from the 2018, 2019 and 2020 classes.

2019 C Alex Milazzo (Zachary HS, LA) showed off advanced catch and throw ability with a pop time of 1.86 and throwing 79 mph from the crouch. He also posted a 7.1 60, threw 85 mph from the outfield and had an 81 mph exit velocity.

2018 INF Connor Simon (Lafayette HS, LA) showed a well-rounded game with actions in the infield, as well as posting a 6.94 60, and an 82 mph exit velocity.

2018 RHP Halen Miller (St. Amant HS, LA) has made a big jump during the summer. With his 6-foot-3 long, lean, athletic frame, Miller showed a quick arm by running his fastball up to 85 mph, and also showed quality ability to spin the baseball.

The lone 2021 at the event,  INF/RHP Connor Simon (St. Pauls HS, LA) is one to keep an eye on. He showed extremely advanced feel for infield play, as well as a quick, clean arm on the mound, sitting 77 mph with ease.
