The Underclass Trials took place on Saturday May 21, at St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Hammond, LA. The open event was the first for many of the 43 underclass prospects in attendance.
INF Cade Doughty (Denham Springs HS) ran a 6.75 60, showed a loose swing with strength and bat speed, as well as quality arm strength across.
OF Lamarcus Jones (Dutchtown HS) showed elite athleticism posting a 6.65 60, and threw 82 mph from the outfield.
RHP Jacob Hammond (Ouachita HS) opened eyes on the mound, as he displayed an 88 mph fastball with tilt, angle, and quality present life.
