Over the course of the last week, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana spent time at games all across the state. Every week we will do a short, weekly roundup of prospects seen, as well as noteworthy performances that have been sent in to us. Lets dive into this week’s recap!
+ LSU commit, Blayne Enlow (St. Amant), went 6 1/3 innings, 0 earned runs, 13 strikeouts and only allowed 3 hits.
+ Mississippi State commit, Jacob Pearson (West Monroe) went 11-for-14 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and a homer.
+ Bo Hardin (Lafayette) went complete game shutout striking out 10, allowing 3 hits and only walking 1.
+ Gavin Dugas (Houma Christian) went 8-for-16 with 3 doubles, 2 homers, 11 runs scored and 10 RBI. Has 6 homers on the year thus far.
+ LHP Ethan Hines (St.Thomas More) struck out 13 in a STM victory over Opelousas.
+ Griffith Olinde (Claiborne Christian) went 2 for 5 with 2 homers, and 4 RBI.
+ 2017 LHP, Jonathan Fincher (Byrd) went 5 innings with 11 strikeouts and 1 earned run in a win.
+ South Beauregard beat Iowa 4-3, Iota 8-0 and South Terrebonne 5-4 to improve to 16-2 on season.'17 LHP Logan Savoy improved to 4-0 on the season on the mound, and he was 7-for-12 on week with 6 RBI.
+ Brett Fisackerly (Thomas Jefferson) went 3-for-7 with a double, 2 triples, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored this week. On the year he is hitting .455 and leading his team with 20 RBI.
+ Dean Alexander (Thomas Jefferson) went 6 1/3 innings against Belle Chasse striking out 12 while getting a no decision. Also went 4-for-8 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.
+ 2017 Catcher Ross Scelfo (St. Michael) went 4-for-8 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.
+ 2017 RHP Mason Gremillion (St. Michael) went 5.2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, and 3 K.
+ Mason Granger (Erath) hit .800 with 3 RBI and went 1-0 on mound going 6 innings, only allowing 2 runs.
+ Ben Leblanc (Erath) hit .625 with a souble, 2 home runs, and 6 RBI.
+ Bren Faulk (Erath) hit .625 with double and 2 stolen bases, also went 1-0 with 1 save on the mound.
