MOST VIEWED PROFILES (OCTOBER 2023)

1. 2025 OF William Patrick (St. Frederick HS): Patrick had a monster performance at the 2023 Future Games, as he went 3-4 with a HR, 3B, 5 RBI, and 3 SB on the week.  The state's 2nd ranked player in the 2025 class recently announced his commitment to Louisiana State University, to join Coach Jay Johnson and the defending National Champion Tigers.

2. 2025 LHP Ross Lindsey (Natchitoches Central HS): The southpaw was another member of our 2023 Future Games team who made the most of his opportunity on the big stage.  Lindsey closed the first two games of the event and gave up 2 H and 1 ER with 3 K's, while working his FB up to 88 mph.  He recently announced his commitment to the University of Alabama.

3. 2026 1B/RHP Andre Ancalade (Brother Martin HS):  Ancalade recently attended our Baton Rouge Preseason ID at Catholic BR HS last month and showed improvements in several areas of his game.  The Brother Martin product recorded an 87.6 mph max exit velocity (+6 mph) and also dropped his 60 time down a couple tenths of a second to a 7.64.

4. 2026 RHP Hayes Holton (Loranger HS): The 6'2" 175 lbs. sophomore right-hander announced his presence at this year's State Games.  Holton showed off quick arm and ran his FB up to 90 mph and paired it well with a 75-79 mph SL.  He's a must-follow prospect in the state's 2026 class who will be moving up in our next state rankings update.

5. 2025 RHP Tanner Webb (Benton HS): We got our first look at the physical 6'3" 250 lbs. right-hander at this year's State Games and it was a good one.  Webb moved down the mound well and displayed a loose & easy arm action, while working his FB up to 87 mph, across two clean innings of work.

6. 2027 C/SS Peyton Starr (West Monroe HS): West Monroe continues to churn out prospects at a rapid rate and Starr looks to be another good one for the Rebels, as he enters his freshman campaign this coming spring.  Starr attended our New Orleans Rising Stars ID last spring and showed well in multiple areas.  He displayed present bat speed with a gap to gap approach at the plate, while recording a 91.5 mph max exit velocity.  On the mound, he worked his FB in the 80-81 mph range with arm-side sink & run, from a lower 3/4 arm slot.

7. 2026 RHP Logan Sorrel (Dunham HS): The 6'3" 190 lbs. right-hander has been making plays on the football gridiron this fall, but he was able to sneak away last month to attend the State Games, and he proved why he's one of, if not, the top pitcher in the state's 2026 class.  Sorrel racked up 4 K's across 2 shutout innings of work.  He ran his FB up to 90 mph, while tunneling a sharp 78-81 mph SL with late break down in the zone and spin rates up to 2639 RPM's.

8. 2026 OF/RHP J.D. Alexander (Barbe HS): Alexander's freshman campaign has been well documented and for good reason, as he was an integral part of the Bucs success last season after hitting at a .349 clip with 3 HR and 8 2B, while also going 2-0 on the mound, with his biggest win coming in the state finals against West Monroe.  Barbe will definitely be relying upon him even more this coming spring, both at the plate and on the mound, as he figures to be the #2 starter behind senior Landon Victorian.

9. 2026 SS Dominic Pellegrin (Holy Cross HS): Pellegrin impressed at the 2022 State Games, which led to his verbal commitment to Tulane University.  We had a chance to see the Holy Cross product at this year's State Games, and he continued to show why he's one of the top middel-infielders in the state's 2026 class, as he notched a couple of hits on the weekend, while also playing stellar defense up the middle.

10. 2025 OF Noah Lewis (Catholic BR HS): 6'2" 185 lbs. athletic frame with broad shoulders and room to still tack on weight.  The Catholic BR product showed off premium upside at this summer's Future Games, namely by blazing a 6.35 laser-timed 60, which was good for best at the event.  Lewis showed up to the State Games last month and made some adjustments in his swing that already looks to be paying dividends, as he laced an opposite field double in Game 1.  The University of Louisiana recruit continues to trend in the right direction and should be a big part of the Bears success this spring.
